All application related issues and deployments and its running state being maintained by WAS6 Support team. As a production support team, we need to be responsible for all WAS6 cluster andapplication issues in WAS6.
Oracle Dba
4-7 years of Oracle application system administration
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
Establish and maintain backup/recovery policies and procedures
Implement and maintain database security
DB tuning and performance monitoring
Disk layout and Disk capacity planning

Install, configure and setup Database and Real Application Cluster.

Performance Tuning: Ability to tune various database parameters and optimize SQL queries.
Database replication
Ability to work in 24X7 environments.
Data modeling (Forward/Reverse engineering )
Knowledge of RAC and Data Guard is essential.
Ability to write shell scripts.
Should have OS tuning experience for-Windows 2003,Linux Redhat/SUSE, HP-UX and Solaris
Ability to work in Onsite/Offsite model
